Hello all! We shall be attending the San Diego Comic-Con July 21 - 25th. We’ll be signing at the Dark Horse booth Friday the 23rd from 5:00 - 7:00. If you miss us there we shall be spending most of our time at the WORLD FAMOUS COMICS booth # 5560. We’re bringing over 100 pieces of original Star Wars art for sale from $20 - $40! These are gonna be going fast so you’d better get there while the pickings are good. You’ll be amazed at the collection of celebrity Jedi for sale! Hello out there in the internets! We shall be attending the ALA (American Library Association) Convention in Washington D.C. on June 26-27 http://www.ala.org/ala/conferencesevents/upcoming/annual/. Hello there! A couple weeks ago we were among a great group of all-ages authors at the TeenBookCon in Houston, Texas http://www.teenbookcon.org/. We have been working with UNLV on a series of online comic books & graphic novels. This is also in conjunction with the Public Lands Institute & Discover Mojave here in Nevada. HEROES AREN’T HARD TO FIND in Charlotte!

So, seeing as how we were in Charlotte anyway, Dark Horse hooked us up to have a signing at the comic book shop HEROES AREN’T HARD TO FIND. It was a great day for a signing in a beautiful city. We wanted to thank Shawn Reynolds and the staff for being so cool and welcoming to us. And another big THANK YOU goes out to all of the great people who came out to see us! We loved having the chance to talk. And who knows, ya’ll just might have convinced us to come out for HEROES-CON!

ROCKIN’ IT AT THE AMERICAN ASSOCIATION OF SCHOOL LIBRARIANS’ NATIONAL CONFERENCE

Friday November 6th found us in Charlotte, NC for the AASL conference. We were brought in to help bring awareness of the importance of graphic novels in schools. It was a fantastic show that opened our eyes and let us learn so many aspects of the school librarian’s job that we’ve taken for granted. So if you get the chance, give your librarian a big hug and thank them for how much they do! They are the ones out on the front lines making a difference that so many people do not realize. We wanted to let all of the great people we met know how wonderful it was having a chance to talk and hang out. And please feel free to drop us an email anytime! We’d also love to have any photos taken with us sent so we can add them to our collection. Big thanks also goes to Dark Horse Publishing (especially Michael Martins), Baker & Taylor, John Shebleski of Diamond Book Distributors, and once again, the biggest thank you of all goes out to all of you fun, crazy librarians for letting us feel so welcome and for the great time we had! You all ROCK!
